You need the 3rd party software to upload your files to the web server. Normally it called ftp application.

No, you can't adjust the size of the news item banner.

•  3    Can I adjust the size of the thumb image?

No, you can't adjust the size of the thumb image. There is no scaling require for image best fit. It'll be displayed exactly the size of the image width=90 and height=87. So if you need to adjust the size of your thumb image you must use the third party graphic application like Adobe Photoshop or CorelDraw etc. to crop it.

•  4    Why I don't see the images appear at all?

Check and make sure the path of the image you have specified in the iNewsSwitcher.xml is correct and existing. So the news item can access to open and display.

•  5    Why I don't see any or some image appear?

In your iNewsSwithcer.xml file check and make sure the path for the missing image file. The image path and image file name you're specifying correct for the flash player to access and download. Also make sure that image is existing.

•  6    What type of image can I use?

This version is support image file with extension .jpg, .png and .gif format. You're welcome to try any other format as you wish. It won't make any harm to the file. However, you can see the image appears or not appear.

•  7    What is the target URL can I use to redirect user when the image is clicked?

There are four type of target you can use to redirect user such as blank/parent/self/top. In most cases you would use blank or self.

Yes, you can apply any font color for the news title or news description as long as you use the hexadecimal number. You need to specify it in your iNewsSwitcher.xml

Yes, you can specify individual redirect target for each news item. You need to specify it in your iNewsSwitcher.xml

• 12    How do I refresh or update the news contents?

It is updating it contents when you refresh the browser. However, if you want it to be refresh at a specific time then you have to embedded the flash as an iframe and put the javascript refresh on that iframe page source so when it refreshes it doesn't reflect with your normal web page contents.

• 13    Can I rename the iNewsSwitcher.swf file to other name that I want?

Yes, you can rename iNewsSwitcher.swf file to any name that you like. Once you have rename it you also need modify the name in the web page that you have embedded flash to match up the new name.

• 14    Can I rename the iNewsSwitcher.xml file to other name that I want?

No, you can't rename iNewsSwitcher.xml file to any name that you like. The flash player actually look for this particular file name. So if you changed it your iNewsSwitcher won't work.

• 15    Can I upload/publish and store the iNewsSwitcher.xml file into any
         folder on my web hosting server?

No, you can't store iNewsSwitcher.xml file any folder on your web server. It must be stored in the same folder with your iNewsSwitcher.swf otherwise your iNewsSwitcher won't work.
