You need the 3rd party software to upload your files to the web server. Normally it called ftp application.

No, you can't adjust the size of the background. This script fixed with the width and height background. It required exact width=565 pixel and height=275 pixel for best result.

No, you can't adjust the size of the picture. The picture required exact width=200 pixel and height=132 pixel. So you make sure when you create the picture for your news item create them with this size for best result.

•  4    Why I don't see the data appears at all?

Check and make sure the path of your file is correct. So the flash player can access to read your configure xml file. If you're not sure about the relative path you can always specify the exact path.

In your configure xml file check and make sure the path for the picture at tag <image>. are you pointing to the correct path? for that picture so the flash player can access to right folder to download that picture. If you're not sure about the relative path you can always specify the exact path.

•  6    Can I change the background image?

No, you can not change the background image. But you can use different skin to match your web page theme. It currently comes with 4 colors skin Black, Blue, Red and Orange.

•  7    How do I pause/stop the animation effect so I can read the news?

When you mouse over the news the animation will be pause for as long as your mouse over it so you can read the news.

•  8    What type of image can I use for news item?

This version is currently support jpg format only. You're welcome to try any other format. It won't make any harm to the ticker.

There are four type of target you can use to redirect user such as (blank/parent/self/top)

No, you can not apply different font color for the item title.

Yes, you can I apply different font style like color, size, face, etc. for the item description by using the normal HTML tag with your item description when you create the XML news.

No, you can't specify individual redirect target.

• 15    How do I refresh or update it contents?

The xml news flare is updating it contents when you refresh the browser. However, if you want it to be refresh at a specific time then you have to embedded the flash as an iframe and put the javascript refresh on that iframe page source so when it refreshes it doesn't effect with your normal web page contents.
